My story as a photographer and floral preservation artist starts back in 2015. At that time, I was burnt out, spent 3 hours a day commuting and felt disconnected. I identified as a creative with no creative outlet and I couldn’t find the time to follow my curiosities. I wondered if there was something more.
Then my partner and I made a decision that changed everything. We went on an adventure that took us to 9 countries, with nothing but our backpacks on our back. At the start of my trip, I bought a hardback book to preserve the flowers, foliage and memories of the places I visited. I also bought my very first camera. It’s hard to put into words the

impact that this experience had on us. The new sights, landscapes, streets, and the interesting characters I met, sparked something in me. Like always, I saw beauty everywhere I looked. After all, I was always that sappy and soulful kid with a knack for observing beauty in the ordinary. But with my camera - I could finally express it.
At the end of that year, my world-traveling adventure had come to an end. But it was only the beginning. I wrapped up my year with a newfound love of documentary photography and floral preservation, and I transitioned from documenting my greatest adventures, to yours. Bloom & Wander Co was born.
Photography and floral preservation are just two art mediums with the same goal - documenting and preserving our life's greatest stories.
I’m a dog mama to a pair of rescue pities named Aurora Roo and Montavious Moo. I'm married to my best friend. This little family of mine makes my heart happy. Originally from the sunshine state of California, we have found our way home to a little cabin in the PNW woods. It's hard not to romanticize this life of mine (but then again that's just what I do - I can't wait to romanticize your sweet story too).
my 'real' stuff
Some of my favorite things include craft brewery hunting with my honey, a good old fashioned. all things vintage and cozy, making art from dried flowers (I have garden aspirations), the smell of the forest after the rain, and going on adventures in this misty moody wonderland I call home. My love language is gummy bears. I believe pineapple is the best pizza topping. And my guilty pleasure is young adult fantasy. Recovering Gryffindor turned proud Hufflepuff. Haha, yea, I'm kinda a nerd. I'm probably editing and listening to Harry Potter for 184776th time.
